What Do You Do, Again?
Every year at our strategic planning retreat, as we're planning for the future, we also like to look back. Did you know that WRC serves over 13,000 women and children from throughout metro Atlanta every year? Last year, 248 women and 256 children stayed in our safehouse. We helped 1,480 women file Temporary Protective Orders and 99 women file criminal warrants. We provided families with over $80,000 in financial assistance after leaving an abusive relationship. We supervised 557 hours of visits between children and their abusive parent, ensuring that those visit were safe. And our hotline received over 10,000 calls. View our 2010 annual report for even more information about the services we provide. |
