 Welcome to another Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As you've probably figured out, October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What you may not know is that more women experience domestic violence in their lifetime than are diagnosed with breast cancer. Both causes are very important to women, and we hope this year you can mix a little purple in with your pink by choosing one of many ways you can become involved with our cause. Join us on Thursday, October 21 at 7pm for WRC's 19th annual candlelight vigil. At the vigil, we will confront several widely held beliefs about domestic violence while remembering those lost, celebrating those who have survived, and renewing our dedication to ending violence against women. The program will include stories, musical performance, and community participation, as well as the incredibly moving candlelighting ceremony. For more information,
