Women's Resource Center is proud to announce (in case you haven't already heard) that our board member Senator David Adelman has been nominated by the Obama Administration to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Singapore.  David has served on our board for 5 years and has been an advocate for domestic violence survivors in the Georgia senate, DeKalb business community, and Atlanta legal community.  Congratulations David!

 

Kicking off his campaign for Senator Adelman's vacated seat this week is another WRC board member, Jason Carter.  Jason has been on the board for just over a year and currently serves as Vice President.  His first campaign event will be held Wednesday, December 9 from 6:30 to 8pm at Twain's in downtown Decatur.

 

WRC would also like to welcome the newest member of our board of directors, Tammy Pearson.  Tammy is currently the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of the Corporate Legal Department at Chick-fil-A.  Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, she was a Partner in the Finance and Commercial Real Estate Department in the Atlanta office of Hunton & Williams.  Please help us welcome Tammy to our cause!
