         Greetings!

The mission of Women's Resource Center to End
Domestic Violence is to create a society where
domestic violence no longer exists. We strive to meet
the needs of battered women and their children while
working toward changing the systems that uphold
violence. Our foundation lies in the empowerment of
all women.

Women who come to our Center may see their lives
reflected on stage in Snapshots, a poignant
look at the strength and resilence of domestic
violence survivors. This original production tells the
true stories of women who visited to our Center,
celebrating their triumphs while laying bare the true
nature of survival. This performance is sure to
touch your heart and will inspire dialogue among
all who attend. The production runs June 17th, 18th,
and 19th at the Academy Theatre in Avondale Estates.

Imagine how it would feel to pack up your most
cherished possessions, pictures of your children and
family keepsakes, only to place them in trash
bags. What message does that send to your
children and how might that make you feel about
yourself?

Messages like these don't belong at WRC, and we are
asking for your help as we communicate to women
that their lives are not so easily tossed away. By
helping us collect duffel bags and backpacks for use
by families in transition, you can help us spread the
message that everyone's memories are worthy of
care. Please contact Katie at 404-688-9436 if
you are interested in collecting for our cause.
