         Greetings!

The mission of Women's Resource Center to End
Domestic Violence is to create a society where
domestic violence no longer exists. We strive to meet
the needs of battered women and their children while
working toward changing the systems that uphold
violence. Our foundation lies in the empowerment of
all women.

Each year, WRC offers men the opportunity to stand
up against violence and to impact the lives of survivors
through our Father's Day Campaign. On
Sunday, June 17th, WRC will run its 6th annual full-
page ad in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution under the
heading "It Takes a Man to Stop Domestic Violence.
The men listed below are proud to state that they will
not tolerate domestic violence in their community."
This is a public opportunity for men to make a
statement against abuse and to communicate to other
men that violence against women is unthinkable.
Women may also honor a non-abusive man in their
lives by sending a gift in his name. Participants and
businesses are asked to send their name as they
would like it to appear in the ad, or the name of the
man they would like to honor, along with a $100, $250,
$500, or $1,000
contribution to
WRC Father's Day Campaign,
P.O. Box 171,
Decatur, GA 3003
no later than June 1, 2007.

Inspired by "The Stories" by Kim Frndak, WRC's
Community Educator, Snapshots brings to life
the true experiences of women who have come
through the doors of WRC over the last 20 years.
Patricia Henritze brings "The Stories" to the stage in
this original production capturing domestic violence
survivors' search for peace, safety, love, and
validation. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the
door.
