Launching Tennessee Valley 2.0 - November 28th

Yesterday afternoon at the EMIM Rally I announced TVCC's next step of faith.  It's all a part of TVCC 2.0 and our 2020 Kingdom Vision. On November 28th, we will be launching what we're simply calling, Classic Worship.  The question begs:  Why this, why now?

Because we're an ever growing family.  And as a family grows, they need more space.  We're nearly at 70% of our seating capacity in our weekend services so we need to expand.  The quickest and easiest way to do that is to add another service.  However, as we've learned from the best church planters and church growth specialists across our country, don't just start a new service, start a new venue.

If you're unfamiliar with this language, it's okay.  Unless you're an avid fan of church planting and live, eat, and sleep this stuff like we do, you wouldn't know about it.  A new venue is simply starting a new service with a different people group in mind, who like a different flavor of music.  The people group?  Those who love TVCC and it's vision, yet rather than contemporary Christian music, they prefer traditional worship music, with more hymns and special music.  The vision to reach young families and engage the unchurched and dechurched, all in a friendly, inviting atmosphere, and to reach more and more people with the Good News that Jesus loves them has not, nor will it change.

Why use a different form of music?  Because there are different strokes for different folks!  My goal is to reach every person possible.  Through the avenue of great resources God has placed here, utilizing the servant hearts of our staff and ministry leaders, and using our campus to its fullest capacity, we will do just that.

We will be sharing more info with you in the days to come about TVCC 2.0 and all the opportunities for serving one another here.  Be sure that you put "A NIGHT OF WORSHIP" on your calender for Sunday night, October 17.  Gene is going to give us a preview of the new service format of Classic Worship as well as lead us in TVCC's Contemporary Worship style you're all so familiar with.

I'm so proud of you TVCC!  Your unity is beautiful picture of the body of Christ.  And just as we've been learning, because you are seeking His heart and you are fully devoted to Him, He is doing great things in our family.

The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT)

Pastor Steve
