Greetings!,
May the joy and happiness of this season be evident in your life in these final weeks of 2008. Blessings to you and your loved ones, friends, and family.
What will 2009 bring? What do you want? What do you need?
The first step to having the life you want is to figure out what you want. (That's what we'll do during my weekend workshop at Kripalu January 2-4, 2009, called Stretching into the New Year and Manifesting Your Desires, for more details, see below.)
Think about your body. Is it the way you want? What would you need to do differently to make a difference?
What about your home? Is it the way you want? How about your relationships? Your job?
What are the behaviors you have that are keeping you from living the life what you want?
Tell yourself the truth. Are you always running late? Do you make promises you can't keep? Do you let messes pile up? Do you get enough sleep? Do you make excuses for not eating well? What about scheduling exercise and yoga? Do you plan out your day?
Imagine what your life would be like if all those behaviors were just as you wanted.
What would your life be like if you ate healthy meals, did yoga regularly and got enough sleep?
What if you saved money, stopped using credit cards, and paid cash for everything?
What if you stopped procrastinating, and set up a plan to tackle a long-desired project?
Would things be different?
Set aside some quiet time. Light a candle. Get paper and pen. And write your thoughts. Your goals, your desires and needs. Write what you would change if you could.
Then take a few additional minutes and write what you are thankful for. What you have that you love. And what you want more of.
Taking time to do this activity is a great gift to give yourself-- time to reflect. From your thoughts will spring an action plan. Because YOU are the most important person in your life.
Start acting that way! So much good will flow from there.
What can I do to help you? How can I best serve you?
