Bank of Office Resources Volunteers Boston, Middleborough, North Andover, Waltham (Flexible) All of the Girl Scout offices have big administrative projects that come and go. Projects vary from stuffing envelopes, labeling, preparing supplies, cutting paper, collating, filing, or data-entry. We would like to have a bank of volunteers that we could contact when these projects come up. This is a great chance to volunteer because it is flexible and doesn't require a regular commitment! If we have a project we need done in one day the next week, we'll contact the bank of volunteers and see if anyone is available. To have your name added to this bank, please email jduquette@girlscoutseasternmass.org and indicate at which office you can help. For questions, contact the above email address or 781-373-4312. |

Sign Language Interpreter and Mentor Norton (Oct.-June)
A Cadette Girl Scout (9th grade) needs
your help while working to earn her Silver Award! This Girl Scout requires someone
who speaks American Sign Language and can give her special attention because
she is both legally blind and deaf. The Silver Award is the 2nd
highest award in Girl Scouts and encourages girls to complete Interest Projects
as well as devise solutions for an issue of their choice. A volunteer will work
with this Girl Scout to develop a timeline for completion of her award, be her
interpreter while she is working in the community, and be a mentor. This person
would donate a few hours each week for the duration of the project (up to one
year). Troop meetings are held every Thursday from 7:30pm-9pm and it would
helpful if the volunteer could occasionally attend these. For more information,
contact Amber Kleiman at akleiman@girlscoutseasternmass.org
or 857-453-5346.
