SMAI is proud to host a special 6-week workshop taught by movement therapist, Amy Matthews!

Feet Are Fundamental Wednesdays, 10:30am - 11:30am October 1 - November 12.
In this six week course we will look at the structures of the foot
(bones, ligaments and muscles),
and how these structures work together to give us the
dynamic balance that underlies grounding and agility.
We will explore how the feet inform the
spirals of the legs and pelvis, and how to strengthen
and mobilize the feet in standing and walking.
There will be time to sense, embody and observe, and
to discuss principles of alignment and therapeutic applications.
All levels of movement experience are welcome. $120.00 workshop fee, $25.00 single class
