We have recently had a yarn change on our two Grade 3 Crypton fabrics which are suplied by Valdese Weavers. Due to the obsolesence of one of the materials used in the production of these patterns, they had to be reformulated.
We had high hopes that the new yarn would be an exact match and just be able to make a running change. Unfortunately, there is more of a difference than what we might commonly see between dye lots. The result is that from now going forward, we are no longer able to effectively match any existing installations of furniture upholstered in these two patterns.
Since these have been very popluar patterns being a Crypton fabric at Grade 3 pricing, we will continue offering them as standard HPFI upholsteries. However, we urge you to obtain new memo samples from our Literature department when considering these patterns.
The new versions of these patterns have been assigned a new fabric number and are shown at left above the pattern name. Please use these new numbers in place of the old numbers listed on page 225 of the 2010 HPFI Price Book, on page 17 of the 2010 HPFI Upholsteries catalog and the inside of the Quick-Ship Upholsteries brochure. We are printing a single page which can be inserted over the current page 17 of your existing Upholsteries Catalog.
The PDF of the Upholsteries Catalog on the web site has been updated with the new images and numbers. New hi-res and low-res images have also been loaded to our marketing support site at www.hpfimkt.com. |
