United Way of Forsyth County wants to make it as easy as possible for people in our community to save on prescription drugs. The FamilyWize program, is a free, prescription drug discount card, accepted at all pharmacies and is available to anyone in Forsyth & Dawson Counties. Over $721,700 has been saved since the program began.

There are no age restrictions, no income restrictions, no limit on how many times you can use it and no waiting to get a card. To print out a FamilyWize Prescription Drug Drug Discount Card, click here.

'Tis the Season!

The holidays are upon us! Parties are being planned, stores are putting out decorations and wish lists are being written. Everyone is getting geared up for the festivities during this time of year.

In addition to celebrating the holidays, we also look for ways to give back. If you are in search of ways to share your time and your talents, look no further! United Way of Forsyth County has compiled a list of programs that are looking for donations of gifts as well as time to spread the holiday cheer to those in need throughout our community.

From Thanksgiving meals to gifts for children and seniors, there is no shortage of ways to give back and Live United during this holiday season.

Community Conversation about Food Needs

In an unstable economy, we know families are finding it difficult to provide the most basic needs, which includes the ability to put food on the table.

United Way of Forsyth County is hosting a Community Conversation regarding food needs with guest speaker, Kay Blackstock, Executive Director, Georgia Mountain Food Bank.
