On February 5, an estimated 100 children from families in need in Forsyth County received free dental services ranging from screenings and cleanings to fillings and sealants as part of national Give Kids A Smile day. United Way, working in collaboration with Forsyth County Schools and six local Dental Practices made this event possible. To find out what dental practices participated in this effort, click here. |

Why should United Way of Forsyth County show appreciation for Publix Stores? There are almost 300,000 reasons....
Publix employees opened their hearts and found their voice. They reached out to people in need. They made a difference! They Lived United by raising $290,230 for the 2010 campaign! Their hard work and commitment has paid off by helping our friends and neighbors who are in need.
Thursday, February 18, 2010 was United Way's official Publix Appreciation Day and we traveled to all nine stores in the County and said "Thank You" to the employees for supporting their community! |
