Who Is Your Hero?
Mark Jennings Daily, an American soldier, killed in Iraq, once wrote on his MySpace page that his heroes were immigrants because "they risk their lives to achieve better ones."
These are powerful words.  He could have picked so many great leaders, sports stars or celebrities but he chose those who fight to achieve the freedoms many of us take for granted each day.
In 2006, United Way of Forsyth County added a new partner to our family of agencies, Forsyth County Certified Literate Community Program, CLCP for short.  This agency provides free instruction to individuals seeking a GED or wishing to learn English by expanding literacy training in our community.
