United Way of Forsyth County and the Cumming Post Office "Stamp Out the Hunger!"

 On Saturday, May 9th, United Way of Forsyth County partnered with the Cumming Post Office and the National Association of Letter Carriers for the 17th annual NALC National Food Drive to "Stamp Out the Hunger". Over 2,000 cans, which is approximately 1 ton of non-perishable items, was collected from Forsyth County residents in zip codes 30040, 30041 and 30028. Recipients of the donations, Unseen Ministries Food Bank, The Place of Forsyth County and Cumming First United Methodist Church each left the post office with a truck load of food.

In addition to a successful local food drive, the national drive was also a big success.
