For March, we are featuring Fatty Acids! Monitoring fatty acid levels can help you strike the right balance of fats including omega-3s and omega-6s. The Fatty Acid Profile is available in 3 different specimen collections: plasma, red blood cell, and blood spot. In this issue you will learn which specimen choice is the most valuable based on individual circumstances. The  Bloodspot Profiles are a great non-invasive alternative for patients, as they are able to complete the specimen collection at home! We have recently changed the shipping method for our Bloodspot Profile specimens for each of the following profiles:
