A new page titled "References" has been added to many of our testing profiles from the "Test Menu" section, as well as a main "References" page available in the Learning Center. These references have been researched and made available to provide more information and background on many testing areas, such as organic acids, fatty acids, stool testing, and vitamins to name a few. Please click here to visit the GI Effects Stool Profiles "References" tab as a sample or use the links below to visit the main references page in the Learning Center or navigate in the Test Menu.

Greetings!

Thanks to all of you that stopped by the Metametrix booth during IFM, DAN! and Autism One. This month we have an article on blood spot testing as a non-invasive option for amino acid, food allergy, and fatty acid testing. Additionally, we have begun implementing changes to the website "clinician" section. Over the next few months, please watch for continued upgrades to this area of the site as we continue to roll out enhancements for you.
Blood Spot Testing
BSFABlood spot testing is a non-invasive alternative to the blood draw!
Blood spot testing is an easy and accurate way to offer a non-invasive testing alternative to a blood draw. Testing of blood spot specimens on dried filter paper is a well established technique that has been used for more than 40 years, and has worldwide application. Metametrix offers three Bloodspot Profiles: Amino Acids, Fatty Acids and IgG4 Food Antibodies.

tubesA new way to order kits and literature
Metametrix has been working to bring our healthcare providers improved online access to their accounts. The first stage of those improvements has now been launched with a new portal for ordering kits and literature. Your current username and password will work in both the current "clinician services" and new "account services" portals. Your reports and other clinician resources still reside in the clinician services section of the site, while all orders will be placed through "account services". We plan to continue upgrading this area of the site over the next few months, so please watch for details. We appreciate your patience as we transition systems and bring you new features and services to your accounts. If you have any issues accessing your account or other questions, please contact client services at 800-221-4640 or via email at inquiries@metametrix.com.
