This month Metametrix is happy to announce the publication of Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine! For those of you that pre-ordered the publication...your copy is on the way! In addition to the book, Metametrix is launching its educational arm, the Metametrix Institute. The Metametrix Institute site will continue to develop with future publications and educational materials, so watch for more programming to come! Lord and J. Alexander Bralley! New Changes to the Organix Profiles!
 Organix logoNew Marker and Improvements to Your Reports  
The report changes to the Organix Profiles will provide more relevant results with the introduction of "below detection limits" (<DL) for normal results below a point of any detection. Total lactate will now be reported as L-Lactate. D-Lactate remains on the report separately. Additionally, the new analyte, picolinate is a marker indicating inflammation and increased nitric oxide production.  Read more about the upcoming changes to the Organix Profiles below.
 
Breakfast Presentation and Book Signing Event by Lord and Bralley

IFMPlease join Metametrix at the IFM 15th International Symposium on Functional Medicine for a breakfast presentation by Dr. Richard S. Lord, author of Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine. The presentation, "Update: Recent Findings for DNA Analysis of Fecal Microbiota," will take place Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6:45-7:45 am. Additionally, Dr. Richard Lord and Dr. Andy Bralley, co-editors of Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine, will be hosting a book signing throughout the conference at the Metametrix booth. Click here for more information on the IFM International Symposium on Functional Medicine.
