We're Hearing Great Things
We are very excited to report that Harvey Mudd College students tutored 4,240 students during the 2011-12 academic year. 84.6% of our calls were for mathematics tutoring with Algebra 1 as the top subject; and 12.3% of the calls were for science tutoring with chemistry as the top subject. Returning callers made up 70.9% of students.
Our call volume and high percentage of returning callers attest to the success of Homework Hotline. The numerous testimonials of student callers provide more evidence. Please take a moment to glance at some of the testimonials that Homework Hotline received.
Besides student feedback, we also encourage our educators (faculty and staff) who work directly with our students to provide feedback. Homework Hotline staff have mailed over 700 educator surveys. We look forward to receiving your comments. Data collected over the summer will be available in early September 2012.
We wish you all a wonderful summer break. Our opening evening for Fall 2012 is Sunday, September 9, at 6:00 p.m.
