CCCHT: Birthday Bash vs Bicycle
This year the calendar for CCCHT is very early which has forced us into conflict with our government land contracts. In addition, the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, RAGBRI, is stopping by on our show date in the Coralville/Iowa City area with an influx of 20,000 or more bicycle riders. Hotels are full, filling, or by show date price gouging will be common place. Instead of celebrating our 5th fantastic year in Area IV with much celebration, an unfortunate "perfect storm" will mean CCCHT will sit this year behind the galloping lanes cheering you on. We will rest, but rejuvenate next year with fresh courses, and an unstoppable spirit, and birthday cake! We wish Area IV a fantastic season, and wish you the best for the eventing year.
