Changes to Wayne DuPage Horse Trials

Among the changes for this year's Wayne DuPage July 11th Horse Trials is stabling.  The stabling, originally planned  (off site)  at Dunham Woods Farm about 1 ½ miles from the site of the Wayne DuPage July HT, will instead now be conveniently available ON SITE in the Pratt's Wayne Woods Forest Preserve, Wayne ,IL.  "We are grateful to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County for their support of the HT and their generosity in allowing on site stabling" said Organizer Dan Kowalewski as he acknowledged the new stabling site.   "This is a terrific change for the horse trials and we appreciate what a positive effect it will have for the competitors."

Another positive change is the addition of an introductory level to the show this July. Riders in this introductory division will have the option of "testing the waters" with their horse or taking an alternative route that avoids getting their horse's hooves wet!   A route through multiple water jumps is planned for the Beginner Novice, Novice and Training level course, but without the option to bypass the water at these levels!
