Maui Jim Eventing Derby Announced
Maui Jim Logo PUT THE ALOHA BACK IN EVENTING!

The Illinois Dressage and Combined Training Association is pleased to present the Maui Jim Eventing Derby Series!

Two informal unrecognized weekends of fun will be held at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL; July 9-11 and August 13-15. Maui Jim, Inc. is graciously sponsoring the event offering $12,000 in total prize money and prizes.

The Maui Jim Eventing Derby is a three phase competition - two jumping rounds and a dressage test. Scores are cumulative. The Dressage phase is ridden in a standard short arena and may be read. The jumping phases consist of some cross country type jumps and some show jumps on a measured track in and out of the Lamplight Grand Prix arena. Jumping rounds are timed against a set published speed. Closest to optimum time may determine a winner.
