Adult Rider Scholarship Competition: Postponed
|
The USEA has asked us to hold off on awarding the Area 4 Adult Rider Scholarship pending possible changes to make sure it meets 501c3 certification. The USEA Admin and Finance committee
needs to work through IRS requirements so as not to jeopardize USEA
status. The head of the Admin and Finance committee said, "I do
support this because we are an organization whose purpose is to educate
the best horses and horsemen in the world."
Already
submitted applications will be kept, although they may need
modification depending on the outcome of the USEA discussion. We will
let you know as soon as we know if we can go forward with this
opportunity in a safe and legal manner. I apologize for the
inconvenience - I guess I asked the wrong people, but now we do have
the right people involved.
