Heritage Park Horse Trials Offers Several New Options
|
The 2009 Heritage Park Horse Trials will be held October 2-4, 2009. The event opened on August 18th. This year we will once again be offering the normal divisions of Beginner Novice, Novice, Training and Preliminary. In addition to suit competitor's varying needs, we will be offering a Preliminary/Training (P/T) division and an Intermediate/Preliminary (I/P) division.
In addition to the above levels of horse trials, Combined Tests (dressage and stadium) will be offered at the Beginner Novice through Intermediate levels. Participants that chose to do the combined test will complete both phases on Saturday.
The Training 3-day is scheduled to run for its second year! Qualifications for the Training 3-day have been listed on the MACTA website (www.macta.info). The USEA has obtained an excellent Sponsorship package for the Training 3-days being held in 2009.

KK Conrad Ultra B-Ring Snaffle Inquiry
|
A few people have
recently inquired as to whether or not the KK Conrad Ultra B-Ring Snaffle is
legal in eventing. In case others have
the same question I will print the answer I received from USEF.
While
the B-Ring or Butterfly Ring has been approved for use in National Dressage
Competitions this approval was a departure from the FEI Dressage Rules from
which our list of approved bits for the Dressage Phase of Eventing Competitions
(both FEI and National) and for this reason the bit may not be used for the
Dressage Phase of Eventing Competitions.
