Area IV is seeking nominations for the 2007 Volunteer of the Year.

Please take a moment to nominate the individual who goes above and beyond to promote the sport of eventing in our area. Consider nominating the organizer of your favorite event, or possibly that friendly face at the start box, or cheerful voice over the intercom.   What about the die-hard in your local eventing association that is always there to help out?

Nominations must be received no later than December 30, 2007.  The 2007 Area IV Volunteer of the Year will be chosen by the Area Council from the nominations submitted by Area IV members.  The Area IV Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented at the Annual Meeting on January 12th.

This is a great calendar for all eventing enthusiasts and would make a great stocking stuffer.

Orders can be made on-line and paid on-line using paypal (if you see a different name (MACTA) when paypal comes up, please don't panic, you are in the right location to pay for the calendar). All funds paid through paypal will go to the Area IV Young Riders.

Danny's training facility is just 4 miles from Fair Hill International 3-Day
www.dannywarrington.com He competes at ADVANCED Level Eventing and has students coast to coast.

He trains with Philip Dutton (without question one the the greatest riders in the
world) and Dressage FEI "O" judge Linda Zang.  (Linda is currently one of only four "O"
(which stands for official) FEI dressage judges in the United States who are allowed
to judge at the Olympic level.)

Interestingly, Danny has never taken lessons from anyone who hasn't won a medal, so he has many valuable insights to share. He has an excellent eye to help you make subtle changes and improve your riding.

We've been very fortunate to have Danny contributing to our program this past year. Many Area IV riders have driven 1-4 hours to Hunter Oaks for clinics with Danny Warrington.
He is extremely honest (why you pay Danny), but very encouraging with a charming
sense of humor.

If you can't ride, there is never a charge at Hunter Oaks to audit a clinic.
