| Area IV Annual Meeting: January 12/13 |
|
The 2007 Area IV Annual meeting will be held January 12-13, 2008 at the Four Points by Sheraton Kansas City Airport. In an effort to keep costs down for everyone, this hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and offers shuttle service to and from the airport as well as to local shopping and dining areas located only a few miles away.
The meeting will consist of the usual meetings for Organizers, Adult Riders, Young Riders as well as a General Forum. There will be guest speakers that we hope will cover some topics of interest to riders. Year end awards will be presented during a dinner on Saturday evening for Horse of the Year and Rider of the Year. In addition, all remaining Adult Rider Low Score awards will also be presented.
Please make your room reservations as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. The nightly rate is $92, when making your reservation please state that you are with Area IV in order to get this rate. The nightly rate does include breakfast for two. The toll free number is 800/368-7764.
If anyone has any specific topics they think would be of interest at the annual meeting, please let me know.
In addition, I am trying to work on the Area IV Leader Board, however, I am still awaiting information from the national office to get it done. Please be assured that as soon as I get it done it will be posted.
