The Weight & Wellness Way

September 2009

Change Your Nutrition, Change Your Life
by Darlene Kvist, MS, CNS, LN

DarleneRemember last January? You made a commitment to yourself to change your nutrition and change the number on that scale.  At Easter you made the same commitment. And of course before summer you were still determined.

This morning you shook your head because that number on the scale isn't any lower.  In fact, it's creeping up.  You explain to the scale, "Well, there was the State Fair, and I really couldn't pass up Martha's Cookies or a malt at the dairy barn."  Your scale just smiles at you. It knows that you are going to have an ongoing relationship with it.
