B Lab: Better World Books One of Top 20 B-Corporations

FastCoExist reported last week in early March that B-Lab, which has been studying B Corporations, released a publication naming the top 10% of B Corporations, overall and by the three measures of the B Impact Assessment. Better World Books, one of SEA's members, was in the top 20 overall, was also featured in the publication produced by B Lab, and in FastCoExist's article. (Click here to read the full article). I would recommend loading the pdf of the full publication; it may be long, but it is a great overview of B Corporations, and has several pull-outs on different corporations.

Congratulations Better World Books!

Right out of a John Wayne Movie

When I was about eight or nine, I hoarded comic books. Didn't we all? War stories, alien invasions, romantic adventures, superheroes, westerns . . .

Of the hundreds I devoured, two left lasting impressions.

One had such a horrific ending that any plot based on mistaken identity infuriates me even today and scarred me for years.

But the other absolutely inspired me, and still does . . .
