Ascension Day at Ascension Episcopal
Please join Bishop Brian Prior in celebrating the Feast of the Ascension tonight, May 17, at 7:00 PM at church. The Bishop will baptize, confirm, or receive 17 new and familiar sheep to our flock. Our adult choir will adorn the service with special music, and a delicious catered dessert reception follows the service in the parish hall.

It is called Blanket Zendo night!

Making It Work with Your Teen
Tuesday, May 22nd
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Ascension Episcopal Church Library
Come join other parents of teens and preteens and learn, Shoulder-to-Shoulder, about how to make the most of your relationship and find common ground with your pre-teen/teen. You'll leave with practical skills and tools to support your efforts caring for and communicating with children and young adults ages 10-17.
Hear about the latest research revealing effective parenting tips. Gain useful insights about teens and teen development. Enjoy discussion with others in a supportive environment. Learn about local resources for yourself and your children. FYI, you needn't be a parent to benefit from this training.
RSVP to Amy at 651-439-1420 or amyrschwantes@gmail.com. Thank you!
Instructor: Amy Schwantes, a locally trained facilitator from Shoulder to Shoulder-Raising Teens Together, a program from the Minnesota Institute of Public Health.
This session is a collaboration between the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, The Chemical Health Action Collaborative (CHAC) in Washington County, and Shoulder to Shoulder Minnesota.
