Fall Photo Finale --- Finally!
We had numerous photo submissions for our Fall Photo Contest and it was difficult to choose a winner with so many great photos.  So, we decided to create two categories: "Students" and  "Public".

This Fall's winner for the "Public category" goes to Thad Torix and his unique photo of the pilot helmet with helicopter reflection in the visor.  Great photo Thad!   Even Vertical Magazine chimed in on this one!!

2011: A big year for SAR's
We were busy in 2011 as it brought us five successful search and rescues. Well, technically fourYavapai County Sheriff's Office were official search and rescues and the fifth was a training flight that found an accident site and injured pilot.

A big thank you to all involved, including flight crews, dispatch and especially the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) for all the great work they do.
