Totally Local VC's dinner series continue. On July 26th this event lands in the county's historic birthplace, the grounds of Mission San Buenaventura, where the community was founded by Junipero Serra himself some 230 years ago. July music in the Tasting Room is shaping up nicely! On the 7th the jazz band, Swing Cheese, will perform. On the 14th we will be treated to a band new to Surf Brewery, surf music band Sea Hunters. July 21st brings Cattawailers Band, specializing in folk and bluegrass. | |
The California Wine Festival will be held at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara on July 21st. 350 wineries representing all of California's regions, Surf Brewery's beer, area restaurants and live music are all part of all part of this beachside event. | |
The next Surf Homebrew Competition is set for July 14. Bring in 2 bottles, IPA style, on or before that date. There is a $5 entry fee and 1st prize is one of our new premium Corni Kegs! |

At the Los Angeles County Fair Surf Brewery received two awards--County Line Rye received a Gold Medal and Mondos Cream Ale picked up a Silver! At the California State Fair, located in Sacramento, Surfer's Point Vienna Lager landed a gold medal! Well done! |
