Dubbed the 'Mother of all Beer Weeks' American Craft Beer Week is the annual celebration of small and independent craft brewers, their craft beer and American Craft culture. Surf Brewery has some great things planned! May 15th will bring Cask of the Week and on 16th includes the 2nd Beer Trivia Contest. On the 17th Surf Brewery will offer its first Beer Tasting Class and Tap the Strawberry Wheat. On May 19-20 will be The Califronia Strawberry Festival. |  |
On May 4th and 5th over 1500 homebrewers and MANY home brewing clubs from around the state will gather together to share their homebrews, brewing expertise and love for the craft. This is event is held on a grassy, lakeside spot at Lake Casitas in Ojai. Surfhomebrew will be there! |  |
May music in the Tasting Room brings us Dockweiller Jones on the 5th and a blue grass/folk band new to Surf TR (Tasting Room), No Wooden Nickels, will play on the 12th. |  |
On May 16th Surf Brewery will host it's second beer trivia contest in the Tasting Room at 6:45. This event is free to participate in and small prizes will be awarded. Congratulations go out to Mike C., the winner of our first contest. |  |
A new series of homebrew classes are now being offered, by VIBE member, Garrett G. On May 12th at Noon will be Introduction to Homebrewing where you will learn how to brew extract beer. On May 17th at 6:30 PM will be a Beer Tasting Class (1½ hours) to taste and analyze 8 Surf Brewery beers (price includes beer, a $16 value). The 3rd Annual Tributefest returns to Santa Clarita's Central Park on May 12, once again bringing together tribute bands playing homage to eight legendary bands. Tributefest will feature concert quality lighting and sound, as well as dozens of beers on tap (including Surf Brewery's) and LA's best food trucks. | |

Totally Local VC continues their dinner series with Dinner in the Limoneira Orchard. Chef Jason Collis of Plated Events returns, bringing his fare to the citrus hillside of Santa Paula's Limoneira Ranch. Wines will be provided by Four Brix Winery, and compliment-ed by the beers of Surf Brewery. |
