Life as an attorney isn't nearly as glamorous as Hollywood portrays. No
one ever tried to get me to "breach attorney-client privilege, thus getting
myself disbarred for life, then testify in open court against the Mafia..." as happened to Tom Cruise's character in
The
Firm.
Running my own office is probably more like a scene where the main character plays every part. But in seven years of practicing
law attorney in the Chicago
area, I'm proud that my straight-forward, honest approach has helped my clients
meet their goals within what is legally possible.
This inaugural issue of
NickRichardsonLaw.com's Docket coincides with my one-year anniversary of 'hanging my own shingle'
as attorneys tend to say. I hope you'll enjoy taking a quick look every month.
Without your support, I wouldn't have the referrals and clients
who have helped make my first year success. Thank you doesn't begin to express
my gratitude.
My office is planning a slew of anniversary-related promotions
this summer, and I'll do my best to keep you informed. If you haven't already,
