She Is Beautiful!

Everyone is beautiful to someone. I learned this in High School. I had met Darlene and I knew I was in love. At church a friend wanted me to date another girl. He said, "look at her, she is beautiful!" But when I looked at her, I thought I should pray for my friend's eyesight. That's when I discovered that everyone is beautiful to someone.

I believe God will connect people to the right person through right happenings. In Genesis chapter 24 we see an example of this when Abraham sent his servant to find a wife for his son Isaac.

The servant prayed, "O Lord God of my master Abraham, please give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham" (Genesis 24:12). The phrase "give me success" is actually one word in Hebrew qarah. Qarah means "right happening." The servant prayed, "God give me right happening today!" The word qarah is also used in Ecclesiastes 9:11 it says right happenings happen to all.

God knows who is beautiful in your eyes. God is more kind and loving than we can imagine. He is more interested in your success than you are. He knows you better than you know yourself. He formed you in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13-14). God knows what you like and has right happenings scheduled for you.

Every time God provided a wife for the men of God, the Bible says that the women were beautiful. Their beauty is recorded in the Bible. When the men of God first laid eyes on their brides, they immediately fell in love with them, just like I did with Darlene. These women were beautiful to the men whom God had appointed to them.

I celebrate 38 years of blissful love with my bride this month. God continues to give us right happenings. He makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). God loves you and He can give you right happenings. Expect this and know something good and beautiful is going to happen for you. We love you!
