 Greetings!
Do you know people who are always in the right place at the right time? It can cause you to have a fit trying to figure out how they are so blessed. The secret is they know how to have a fit... they know how to receive bene-fits! It's not luck. It is the ability to hear God speak to you and being led by Holy Spirit to the right place and people at the right time.
In Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 Solomon says the winner of the race is not the fastest, the battle isn't won by the strongest, riches do not go to the smartest nor favor to the skilled but Solomon said in Proverbs 16:9 It is God who leads us into right happenings. The only kind of fit worth having is the bene-fit of hearing God talk to you and lead you into right happenings!
God leads us (we hear Him talk to us) through the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4, Philippians 2:13). Friends, it is not difficult to hear God and be led by Holy Spirit. God places His desires in our heart. He puts the willingness in us to do something or go somewhere. That is how He leads us.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior he takes out our hard, evil heart and gives us a soft heart (Ezekiel 36:26, Hebrews 10:16, Colossians 1:27)). He then leads us through the desires in our heart. Using the Bible as our code of conduct we learn how to know which desires are from God and which are not. For example, if you have a desire for another man's wife, you don't need a rocket scientist to tell you that is not from God. The Bible is clear on those things.
Jesus didn't say "My sheep must learn to hear my voice"...(John 10:27). Jesus said if you are His sheep you WILL hear His voice! Jesus takes for granted that we hear His voice.
Follow the desires of your heart because God puts them there (Romans 5:5) and Holy Spirit will lead you to benefits of being in the right place at the right time! What an awesome loving God we have! We love you!

On the Lighter Side
A dignified pastor had a parrot that had episodes of cussing learned from its previous owner. After enough episodes the pastor decided he would have to kill his pet. A church member offered a solution. She said, "I have a female parrot who is a saint. She says nothing but 'Let's pray.' Why don't you bring your parrot over and see if my own bird's good influence doesn't reform him?"
The pastor said it was worth a try. He arrived with his pet under his arm. The bird took one look at the lady parrot and chirped, "Hi toots. How about a little kiss?" "My prayers have been answered," said the lady parrot gleefully.
