Something Supernatural is Happening

One of the many names of God is Jehovah-Jireh, "God will provide." Never doubt the giving nature of your Heavenly Father. You matter to Him. Your needs matter to Him. Your total prosperity is on His mind.

Ecstasy to a giver is finding someone qualified to receive. "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause, yes, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant," (Psalm 35:27).

In 2 Corinthians 8:1-9, Paul said there is something supernatural happening that I desire to happen to you. There were believers living in horrible economic conditions yet they were abounding in their giving. This was happening because they understood the grace of God. Grace empowers us to do God's will. God delights in our discovering how to be blessed financially (2 Corinthians 9:6-11). Have you made this supernatural discovery?

The Bible tells us that if we are not prospering we should consider our ways of living because something is out of order (Haggai 1:4-8). God has a financial plan for us, even in economic hard times (1 Kings 17:13-16). As we spend time honoring the Lord, with worship and friendship, He reveals to us specific strategies. As we operate His strategies we will discover there is always more than enough (Isaiah 48:17).

Millions of people pursue wealth and fame. Solomon was the richest man who ever lived. His obsession was the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is absorbed as we fellowship with Him. The wisdom of God is contained in His Word. Solomon pursued the wisdom of God and because of that he discovered the wealth that the grace of God provides (2 Chronicles 1:7-12).

Let's consider our ways and pursue the wisdom of God above all else. This delights the Lord because He enjoys our company. Wisdom is the most important person on earth (Proverbs 4:7). Holy Spirit is Wisdom (Isaiah 11:2, Colossians 2:3). Solomon discovered something supernatural, that intimacy with Holy Spirit produces wealth, gains friendships, and is more precious than gold and silver (Ecclesiastes 2:4-9).

Wisdom is available but is only guaranteed to those who consider their ways and pursue it (Proverbs 2:6, James 1:5). The proof of wisdom is the presence of joy and peace (Ecclesiastes 7:12, Proverbs 3:13). Pursue wisdom today and wisdom will exalt you. When finances are a frustration we can consider our ways and discover the ecstasy of wisdom that will produce joy and peace. Try it and see! (Proverbs 4:8).
