 Greetings!
Do you know how to turn the power on or off? In most cases there is a switch of some type that turns on the power or flip it and it turns off the power. What about your spiritual power (gifts of Holy Spirit)? Do you know how to turn on the power when it is needed? We have a role in activating the power of Holy Spirit being released into our circumstances (John 5:8, Mark 2:9, John 9:11, Luke 17:11-19, 2 Timothy 1:6)
We must know how to Man UP and have our spiritual eyes and ears operating (Hebrews 5:12-14, Ephesians 1:15-18) In 2 Kings 6:15-17 Elisha didn't pray, "If it is my servant's gifting, open his eyes." No, Elisha knew that God wanted to open the eyes of the servant. In the passage above from Ephesians Paul also believed all believers should have spiritual eyes (ability to discern spiritual activity).
Jesus taught that He wants us to have eyes to see into the spiritual arena (Revelation 3:17-18). Jesus taught that we should see through the eyes of our heart (spirit) but sometimes there is a plank in our eye preventing us from seeing into the spiritual arena (Matthew 7:1-5, 1 John 2:9-11). Jesus was teaching that spiritual insight only happens through love (Galatians 5:6, 1 Corinthians 13:2, 1 John 3:18-23)!
A little girl who loved Jesus wanted to express her love for Him, so she asked her mom about it. She said that since Jesus lived in her heart she was wondering if she wrote "I Love You" on a piece of paper and ate it, would He see it. Of course, the way Jesus sees how much we love Him is by how much we obey him (John 14:15). We must receive God's love for ourselves because it is impossible to give to others something we do not have our self.
To have a spiritual breakthrough and begin to see and hear things in the spirit will happen when we focus on the love of God. Don't be like a thirsty person with a glass of water sitting in front of you but you never drink the water. Drink in (focus on) the unconditional love of God and you will conquer all (Romans 5:8, Romans 12:21, Ephesians 3:17-19).
Instead of focusing on the speck in our brother's eye, let's focus on God's love and really begin to see into the marvelous spirit world and experience victory because love never fails! I close with the powerful admonition from Hebrews 10:24, "And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we many stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities." We love you!

On the Lighter Side
A salesperson in a store that operated on strict Christian principles had a lady want to purchase material. He produced a roll from the bottom of the shelf and told her it was $2.00 a yard. She replied, "Young man, I can afford the very best." "Well this is $4.00 a yard," he said as he showed her another roll. She replied, "I don't think you understand, I can afford the very best!" He reached for another roll of $4.00 material and said, "We have this at $15.00 per yard." "Fine" responded the customer. "I will take that one." The store owner asked the salesperson how he could reconcile that transaction with scripture. The salesperson responded, "She was a stranger and I took her in." (Proverbs 9:7-10)
