Bounce Back Guaranteed

This week is Palm Sunday and a great time to remember God designed palm trees to bend but not to break in high winds. The palm tree can bend all the way over until its top touches the ground and still not break. This is because God made palm trees to be resilient. They bounce right back.

Psalm 92:12 says, "the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree." We may fall seven times but God says He will raise us up because He has made us resilient (Proverbs 24:16). God says we are bounce back people. You toss any ball that bounces into a pool of water and even if you old it under the water for awhile, it will always bounce back to the top of the pool. We will bounce back and flourish...because God is for us!

Whenever anyone messes with my wife, my children or my money I get anointed to be a Superman and respond to the foolish person who is messing where he shouldn't be messing. You might be able to get by with messing with me. I might let it bounce off me. But if you mess with my family or my money, you got a wild man on your hands!

God is the same way when it comes to protecting His children. When the enemy strikes with sickness or someone mistreats you, etc. God doesn't sit back and say, "oh that's too bad." God steps up and says, "You are messing with my child. If you mess with them, you are messing with me. And who am I? I am the all powerful Creator of the universe. You want some of this? Go ahead and make my day."

God is our protector and deliverer. He is our healer and our strength. He is our wisdom and our victory (Exodus 15:26, 1 Corinthians 1:30, Psalm 18:30, 2 Corinthians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 4:10).

Lift up your head because the King of glory will come in and fight for you! You are too blessed to be stressed! God is for you not against you. He has not forgotten you. 2010 is going to be a good, good year (Psalm 65:11, Jeremiah 33:9). Any setbacks will serve as setups for a greater comeback. You will bounce back from every disappointment. This is a season for you to flourish. Flourish means to thrive, prosper and be productive. You will bounce back and flourish. You can begin again and arise to greatness! You will flourish like a palm tree. We love you!
