Greetings!
Have you ever tried to get God to move on your behalf? Many people think if we have enough faith then God will move. Faith is not something we do to get God to respond. Faith doesn't move God. Faith is our positive response to something God has already done. God has already moved by grace. Faith only appropriates what God has already provided by grace. If God hasn't provided it, our faith can't make God do anything. You could believe and confess that you are going to rob a bank and not get caught. Really, if you think for a moment, this is how many people think faith works. But you can't use your faith and make God help you rob a bank because God didn't provide thievery in His atonement. Grace has not already provided the means to steal from others. Faith doesn't make God do anything. Faith is discovering what He has already provided and then believing it and acting like it has already been provided. According to Ephesians 1:19-23, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me if I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I have raising from the dead power at my disposal. Jesus already provided this. I can discover what already has been provided and learn how to use it. God is not responding to my faith. My faith is a response to God's grace (what has already been provided). I am not trying to get God to do anything. He has already done it all and provided it all through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Psalm 103:1-10, 2 Peter 1:2-4). I can Man UP and partake of the DNA of God as I learn how to receive what God, has by grace, already provided. The parable in Luke 11:5-8 about the persistent neighbor bugging his friend is not about hammering God to make Him get up and give me what I need. This parable is a contrast, not a comparison. Jesus is saying, "Do you know anyone, whom you consider a friend, who would treat you rudely? Of course not. No friend would treat you that way. Then why do you expect God to be like that? Why do you think you have to badger Him?" The above passage is saying that if you expect that much mercy and kindness from a physical friend then how much more should you expect God to answer your prayers without badgering Him. That is why in the next verse Jesus says, "Ask and it shall be given to you." Be confident that God loves you more than you love yourself. God loves your family more than you love them. He wants you to succeed more than you want to succeed. God, by grace, has provided everything that is necessary for us to accomplish what He wants. Now we must by faith, discover what has been provided, trust it and learn how to receive it into our circumstances. God has already provided the same power that raised Jesus from the dead (grace).
We can Man UP and discover how to release (faith) the Champion that is already in us (grace). You can be more than a mere man and partake of the DNA of God (2 Peter 1:2-4).

On the Lighter Side
The customer wanted to buy a chicken and the butcher had only one in stock. He weighed it and said, "A beauty. That will be $3.00." "Oh, that's not quite large enough." said the customer. The butcher put the chicken back in the freezer, rolled it around on the ice, then back on the scales again. "This one is $3.95," he said, adding his thumb for good weight. "Oh, that's fine!" said the customer, "I'll take both of them." (Luke 16:8-12)
