Joan Brock BW

Joan Brock is this year's OWE inaugural guest speaker. Joan is a women who has taken the adversities of her life and used them to strengthen herself. She goes around the world teaching men and women to love yourself for who you are and persevere through struggles to reach your destination of choice.

At the age of 32, Joan Brock suddenly lost her sight from a rare eye disease in a three week period. Five years later she tragically lost her husband to cancer and was left to raise her young daughter as a blind, single parent.

Joan is the author of More Than Meets the Eye, written with Derek L. Gill. It has been translated into several languages and is also a Reader's Digest Condensed Book. She won the hearts of the insurance industry's Million Dollar Round Table and NBC Today Show audiences with her story of courage, perseverance and acceptance.

In 2003, Joan's amazing life story was portrayed in a Lifetime Television Network movie, titled More Than Meets the Eye: The Joan Brock Story.

Joan is a remarkable woman, who has inspired thousands and will inspire you!
