Dear Central Coast Adventurers:     

On April 14, along with friends from the Isle of Man and the assistance of the U.S. Embassy in London, we made history, and brought a modicum of closure to a 67 year old B-17 crash. You can read the story and see some images from the historic event below. 

 

While in the United Kingdom, I visited Scotland and warmed up some contacts and connections for our upcoming trip in September.  There are some seats left, and we'll preview it all on Sunday, May 6th. 

 

Also, we've set up our Second Annual Christmas in Cambria, December 14-16, 2012, with a return to the Hearst Castle wearing all of its Christmas finery, as well as some new attractions in this fascinating Central California community.  This trip would make a great Christmas gift! 

 

Finally, check out the Cabrillo College Extension catalogue preview on line and you'll see the History Dude going back to the Zip-Line yet again!

Cambria

We'll be seeing not only Cambria's incredible holiday lights, but also Hearst Castle in the evening in all of its Christmas glory!   The volunteers at Hearst Castle go all out at Christmas, and the decorations and living history displays will kick-start your Christmas spirit.
