Happy Holidays!
Lots of new stuff as 2010 winds to a close.  A special last-minute trip to San Francisco with Linda Yamane as well as a brand-new day-long hike with Gary Griggs. Also, an unusual gift idea.
But be forewarned!  The adventures fill quickly!  Don't hesitate!

Did You Know?
Seacliff's "Cement Ship" is NOT cement...

Palo Alto

It is Concrete!

This is a small, niggling matter, but a pesky one on our historical landscape.

Cement is the powdery stuff in the bag.

Concrete is the hard stuff that includes aggregate and cement.

Towed to its present location in January, 1930, the S.S. Palo Alto has withstood the forces of the Pacific for over 80 years.
