Dear Friend of Animal Angels, We have just experienced record-breaking cold and snow in the last 3 months, out in Jacksboro, Texas.
In order to keep our 300+ sanctuary dogs
comfortable, we had to utilize both electric heat and propane heat, pay extra help to keep fresh water available, and make sure the 20" of heavy snow didn't collapse any of our buildings.
Our financial reserves have been depleted, and we still have vet bills and more weather-related bills that need to be paid very soon. In addition, our dog food donations have been down, so we have had to purchase food, to keep everyone fed well in this cold weather. Like most other charities right now, our financial donations are down. However, calls for our help never slow down.
On behalf of our dogs, i'm asking for your help, so we can continue to pay our bills, continue our spay/neuter program, rescue dumped dogs and puppies left in a ditch out in the country. Any help you can give us, is so very much appreciated, by staff and our rescued resident dogs in our sanctuary. |
