Watch this old Kodak commercial which is a great reminder of why we take the images we do and why they need to be protected...Keep me, protect me, share me and I'll live forever

We've grown up flicking through photo albums and take it for granted that old family photos have survived the last 50~100 years but how many family pictures from this century will be around for the next century to view - more importantly those digital memories captured on camera phones, tablets or uploaded to Facebook?
Tip 1: SAVE those photos captured on non-traditional cameras (phones, tablets, etc)
Imagine the dismay when in 15 year's time you're making an album for your daughter's 21st and can't find that great photo you took on her first day at school because it was taken with your camera phone? You showed everyone the photo at the time but you never printed it or saved it :-(
Tip 2: ORGANISE your digital photo collection
So you took my advice and downloaded the photos from your still camera, video camera, cameraphone and tablet to your PC but ...did you ORGANISE them?
Yes - go to Tip 3.
No - learn how - details of class in top article
Tip 3: BACK-UP your photo collection regularly
Failure of hard drives and deterioration of CD/DVD's is a constant threat Wouldn't it feel great knowing that our photos (our memories and stories) are safe and accessible?
Tip 4: PRINT to Preserve
Archival prints will outlast all the photo capture and viewing devices available today - printed photos don't need any technical device to view them! Talk to our staff about "archival" prints and albums
