TIP... how to organise your photos using ABCs |
|
After the hustle and bustle of Christmas and the summer holidays you probably have 100s of digital photos to organise? Here are a few tricks called the ABC'S of photo organising from Cathi Nelson, founder of APPO (the Association of Personal Photo Organisers):
- A is for the photos you want to keep - the photos you want to print and add to an album!
- B is for backing up your photos - not all your photos, but the ones you would be devastated to lose. Hard drives crash and photo sites can go out of business.
- C stands for can. That means you can delete the photos you will never print.
- S is the most important: what story does the photo tell? Save the photos that tell a story - these are the important photos that you will want to share and see for generations.
If you want to learn more about the ABCS of photo organising (printed photos or digital), join one of Jill's photo organising classes to learn how to SORT, ORGANISE, SCAN, BACK-UP & SHARE ... or invite her to your home for a one-on-one session. More information on this web page . |
