Photographing Fireworks- Take a tripod or monopod, a torch, spare battery & spare memory card.
- Find a good position - get set-up before dark to be sure there are no trees in your way. If you're sitting on the grass, take the higher ground so those who arrive after you do not block your view. If fireworks are being launched over water, position yourself to include some reflections.
- compact cameras - go to SCENE mode and select FIREWORKS option if available. If not, shoot on Auto.
- SLR owners - detailed information can be found on this page
