KIOSK TIPS

Photos loaded from a memory card are easy to sort chronologically but photos saved to a CD are tagged with the date burned, not that taken, and this causes issues when sorting them at the kiosks.
Combining photos from different cameras also causes issues if the date of the two cameras was not synchronised at time taken. You can spend hours in our shop rearranging the photos or do some preparation at home.

Time-saving tip 1:
Only bring in the photos you need - this saves you heaps of time at the kiosks.

Time-saving tip 2:
As our kiosks allow you to sort your images by filename then when combining photos from different sources we recommend you rename your photos at home using a numbering system that will place photos in the order required.

Blank-Book method   Ask us about the "blank-book" method for creating a PhotoBook where the default sorts don't give the desired layout.

           SONY MC-6 DVD BURNER

Got heaps of old and new video footage to transfer to DVD? We can transfer them for you, or you can do it yourself with this cool gadget.
MC6Sony's MC6 is the latest version of the popular multi-function DVDirect DVD recorder. It's perfect for transferring both old home movies from VHS and camcorder tapes (assuming you still own something to play these back on!) as well as all digital camcorder video footage (tape, hard drive, DVD and cards) to DVD discs without a computer.

Standard Definition video can be transferred to DVD discs that can be played in most consumer DVD players without any problem. It supports RCA, FireWire, USB & Composite Video connections. Any camera not recognized via USB or firewire connections can be connected via AV leads, as can a HiDEF camcorder that you want to transfer to standard definition format.

High Definition video can be transferred to DVD discs in their native 1080i HD resolution from a HiDef Sony Memory Stick or Hard Disk Drive camcorder. These AVCHD quality DVDs can only be played back on compatible Blu-ray Disc devices - not standard DVD players.

Photos can be archived to DVD, as well as turned into a slideshow, by inserting memory cards into the MC-6 (it supports Memory Stick, SD/SDHC and xD-picture card media formats).
