You don't have to use photos - just jpg files- so how about using some favourite recipes or copies of your children's artwork.
KID'S ART:
Why not share your children's best paintings? Scan the paintings to turn them into a jpg photo file (use your digital camera if you don't have a scanner or they are too large).
Save to a USB drive or CD then load the images into our kiosks and create
a collage poster, a 5x7" booklet (at least 6 images), calendars (at least 12
images) or a Hard Cover art book (at least 10 images). One very special picture? Have it put onto a coffee
mug.
RECIPES
Option 1: as above - scan the recipes or photograph with your digital
camera
Option 2: Type up the recipes in Publisher then select "save as". Select "jpeg" from the SAVE AS TYPE box - then click on the "change" (resolution)
box that appears and select the 300dpi option. Your recipe page is now a jpg
photo file.
If you have only one recipe - print it onto a mug
At least 6 recipes - print a 5x7" booklet
At least 10 recipes - print an 8x11"or 12x12" book

CAN YOU RECOVER LOST CARD PHOTOS?
We have software to recover lost photos from corrupt memory cards - but can't guarantee success (more about reducing the chances of your card becomig corrupted on this page). You must reformat the card (rather than "delete all")
after you have copied all the photos to a CD. Our tip - get your card cleaned up for Christmas. Get all the images off your card today and backup to a CD/DVD then FORMAT the card.
We have about a 50% success rate in recovering lost photos from the cheap memory cards. Because neither the PC or the camera will allow us to re-format the failed cards they cannot be used again so you lose the card as well as your precious photos.
