The holiday season is quickly approaching. Most of us will enjoy time with families, exchanging gifts, and eating way too much great food. But, unfortunately, there are many families who will go hungry during this time. Most of us never have and never will know what it feels like to be hungry, really hungry. We are so blessed to have all that we have. We are so blessed to have food and shelter and the basic necessities. We often forget those who struggle to have any of this. And, on one hand, it's sad that people and businesses take only a few months out of the year to help others; that they do food drives, toy drives, fund raisers, etc. only during the holiday season. People are hungry every day of the year. People go without every day of the year. But, on the other hand, I think it is important for something to be done. And, it's obvious that we can not rely on the government to do the right thing. That is why it is up to us, their neighbors.
So, Range USA is going to do our part to help the less fortunate. We are currently conducting a food drive. From now until November 14th, we will be accepting canned food items in exchange for targets. For every can of food you bring in, we will give you a paper target. This is a great opportunity for you to help out your fellow man, knowing that you will help feed men, women, and children. You could also use this as a way to demonstrate charity to your children. Let them be a part of you exchanging the cans for targets - charity starts at home. Then, hopefully, on Monday 15th, we can deliver a great amount of food to a local food kitchen. Please take part in this drive and bring in your cans of food!
And, keep an eye out for a Range USA program that will be designed to help the less fortunate all year around!

Sounds strange, right? Let me explain. Being left handed myself, I realized how difficult it was to find a left-hand holster. In an effort to help fellow southpaws out, I ordered a few left-hand holsters for various makes and models. Ok. I ordered more than a few! Apparently, I over estimated the ratio of left-handed shooters to right-handed shooters in the world. We seem to have a surplus of left-hand holsters in stock. So, until our current left-hand holster inventory is depleted, you can get 50% OFF left hand holsters. We have kydex, leather, and nylon in stock. So, come on in, Lefty! Be proud of your wrong-handedness and get a deal!

We are also looking for a few more 1776 (restaurant) employees and a few KEY employees as well! Both full and part-time positions are available. Part-time employees will be required to work an average of three shifts per week. Shifts are available for days, nights, and weekends.

This year's Memphis Friends of NRA Banquet is quickly approaching. If you haven't purchased your ticket yet, please do so ASAP! The banquet is Thursday, October 21 at 5:30pm at Woodland Hills. | NEW FINGERPRINTING HOURS | |
Beginning November 1st, Range USA will begin fingerprinting on Mondays from 11:00am-7:00pm. Our new fingerprinting hours will be Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm and Saturday 11:00am-5:00pm.

| Important Date Night Information | |
During Zombie Night 2 (October 28-30), our regular Date Night deal will not be available. Instead, we encourage you to bring your date for a run through the zombie zone! A special menu will be available that will fit in nicely with the "safe house" motif. It will be the most fun you've had on a date in a loooong time!

| Zombie Night 2 Volunteers Needed! | |
We are still looking for a few more volunteers for Zombie Night 2. Come be part of the RUZAT (Range USA Zombie Annihilation Team) and be part of this exciting event. You will be working closely with the instructors and employees of Range USA to help make this year's event a huge success! Applications will be taken until October 22nd. We will have our last event meeting on the 24th and the volunteers are encouraged to be here for that.

| Zombie Night 2 and Canned Food Drive |
Range USA, Inc. will be having our Second Annual Zombie Night, October 28th-30th, 2010. Each night's event will start at 6:00pm and the last shooter will be allowed in line at 9:00pm. This year's event is going to be a little different than the event last year. This year's event will be held on the larger range and will consist of three different scenarios each night! So, you will want to come back each night to experience the latest attacking horde of undead! Each night will feature the firing of pistols, rifles, shotguns and full-autos to fend off the advancing horde of zombies. You may bring your own firearms or you may use ours. Tickets will be $15.00 if purchased prior to the event and $20.00 if purchased the day of the event and go on sale October 1st.
Range USA is asking for your help over the next month! For the next few weeks, Range USA will begin to undergo a transformation. The restaurant area will morph from the 1776 restaurant to a "refugee camp - safe house" against the ever encroaching outbreak! As you know, any self-respecting safe house will have an impressive supply of rations. Here is where you, Range USA customers, come in. For every non-perishable can of food you bring in, Range USA will give you a free paper target. We will accept these food items to add to the ambiance of the safe house and then will donate it all to Impact Missions for their holiday food drive. Range USA will continue this "food for target" promotion thru November 14th. This holiday season, you can help feed some hungry families and get free targets all at the same time.
Be sure to keep checking our website for updates on Zombie Night 2 and stop by the range to witness the metamorphosis of the restaurant into the only safe place to be when the zombies come!
