I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.
So this year's "Britain's Got Talent" has
already flooded YouTube will hundreds of
thousands of hits! Most of those people want
to see the homely Susan Boyle sing a
selection from "Les Miserables" beautifully.
Many others are clicking to see the young
man, Shaheen Jafargholi, sing a Michael
Jackson song that brings the crowd to their
feet! Then there is Hollie Steel; a young
ballerina who also has an amazing voice. And
let's not forget about last year's winner, Paul
Potts and his version of "Nessun Dorma".
And, last year there was little 6 year old
Hollie Steel - amazing as well. Britain has
some really amazing talent. Then there is
another show called "America's Got Talent".
And America's all important quest for
diversity has proven to be well worth it! For
example, last year we had a 6'4" transvestite
in angel wings "flying" around the stage and
swallowing swords. We also had a rapping
granny - what a talented act that was. And we
also had several dancing troupes of scantily
clad pre-pubescent girls gyrating on stage
trying their best to imitate Britney Spears (in
more ways than one, I fear). Well done
America! We are truly a talented, diverse, and
tolerant people and it has paid off tenfold.
Not I have to get back to watching
TeleTubbies. Now that I think about it, I
believe they are a product of the very talented
Brits! Thank you Great Britain! - Dylan
