Greetings!

The C.L. Hoover Opera House just hosted the Kansas City Metro Men's Chorus in a fantastic benefit performance produced by the Junction City Sertoma Club. On behalf of ourselves, The Food Pantry of Geary County and The Open Door we would like to extend our most heartfelt congratulations on the success of the show and our thanks for all of their efforts.

Meanwhile, the house is ready to swing to the smooth jazz rhythms of Five by Design and Richie Cole in Richie's House of Jazz. So put your dancin' shoes on and head down to the Opera House on Thursay, March 10 at 7:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you at the show, and as always we thank you for your support of the arts at the C.L. Hoover Opera House.
Sincerely,

Jill Nelson

Five by Design and Richie Cole in
Richie's House of Jazz
Richie's House of Jazz
On March 10 at 7:30 pm the C.L. Hoover Opera House will feature the new production from the creative minds at Five by Design--Richie's House of Jazz with Richie Cole. Set in the format of a radio broadcast, the production touches upon Cole's forty year career in the music industry. Richie's House of Jazz runs the gamut from television's I Love Lucy theme and Johnny Carson's theme from The Tonight Show to hits such as Night and Day, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy and Flying Home. Five by Design also provides listeners with a peek inside the Rogue and Jar, the Washington D.C. club where Cole was inspired to pen the classic Harold's House of Jazz.

The Minnesota based Five by Design is a nationally acclaimed vocal quintet that has been performing together for more than fifteen years. Richie Cole's musical career has spanned four decades and has included touring with Buddy Rich and playing with Doc Severinsen's Tonight Show Band. Five by Design and Richie Cole are feeling the beat and keeping things swingin' in Richie's House of Jazz.
